Commercial Microwave Ovens
Commercial microwave ovens can differ significantly from their home-use counterparts in terms of durability, technology, controls and capacity. Some newer commercial oven models effectively combine microwaves with controlled delivery of steam or convection options. A commercial oven is mostly used for fast food service. It often consumes higher energy than any other domestic oven and is built with the appropriate components to meet these requirements.
Microwave ovens prepare food by emitting high-frequency electromagnetic waves called microwaves. When food is cooked by the heat produced by molecular friction, it cooks food from inside and outside. Microwaves are absorbed only by molecules inside the food and not by the surrounding air. So by this process of cooking and baking, preparation time is greatly reduced compared to other types of ovens.
